By Peter Weller, better known as RoboCop, hasn’t done much lately. His most notable accomplishments might be getting his Masters at my alma mater Syracuse University and his Ph.D. at UCLA. But when some people started criticizing plans to erect a statue of RoboCop in Detroit, Weller chose to speak out in a special video.
What’s awesome about this short isn’t the cardboard helmet Weller wears or his attacks on Detroit’s mayor. No, it’s the fact that that Weller is much more entertaining to listen to. I always found it strange that he practically acted like a robot well before he was turned into RoboCop, but this clip shows that he actually has some personality in him.
