By A few days ago, Slash Film broke the news that Rosario Dawson would be joining the cast of The Mandalorian – Season Two. Playing the role of Ahsoka Tano, fans of the animated series Star Wars: Rebels were happy to see such a wonderful actress portray their favorite character. If news of Dawson’s casting wasn’t enough, though, then Terminator star Michael Biehn’s mysterious casting should get you excited.
Said to be playing another bounty hunter, Biehn’s role in The Mandalorian will be his first high-profile casting in over a decade. He’s definitely been busy with lower-budget roles and TV spots, but his last major Hollywood role was in 2007‘s Planet Terror. Oddly enough, Planet Terror was included in the compilation film Grindhouse and Dawson starred in the second part, Death Proof.
The first season of The Mandalorian wasn’t lacking guest stars, but here’s hoping that the second go-around will make better use of them. Ming-Na Wen was completely wasted.
