By Get ready to get more testerone than you can handle thrown at you as I list off the rumored names of some of the cast showing up in Sylvester Stalone’s The Expendables 2: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, John Travolta, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis. It’s like the manliness of the first film multiplied by… well… almost doubled.
While we all knew Stallone, Statham, Rourke and Lundgren would be back in action, and we did know that Schwarzenegger and Willis were being courted once again, the addition of Van Damme, Travaolta and Norris makes this movie some kind of madhouse of old action stars. That’s probably the only way they could top the original’s stellar cast.
We should probably take this with a grain of salt, however, as it comes from the CEO of Bulgaria-based (the film is being shot there) NU Boyana studios David Varod. He may have just been listing off a wishlist or people with incredibly small cameos. Still, even a cameo from Van Damme or Norris would increase the action quantitude by a gazillion.
