Following the release of Runaways‘ teaser trailer earlier this month comes the official full trailer for the latest TV entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show adapts the comic series created by Brian K. Vaughan (Lost, Y: The Last Man, Saga) that follows six teenagers who discover their parents are actually part of a super-villain group known as The Pride. Not wanting to follow the same path, the teens run away together to make sense of the revelation.
Runaways is adapted for TV by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who together created the highly-popular (and overtly melodramatic) The O.C. and developed Gossip Girl; in addition, Schwartz also co-created Chuck. Needless to say, the series is in capable hands and shouldn’t suffer the same fate as Marvel’s other new 2017 TV series, Inhumans, which hasn’t been well-received by both critics and fans.
The Hulu-exclusive Runaways will premiere its 10-episode season on November 21st.
