By You know who’s cooler than you? Rutger “I made the rest of Blade Runner look like a f***ing Star Wars prequel” Hauer. Hauer, starring soon in Hobo with a Shotgun, has just been cast in Dracula 3D, to be directed by Suspiria’s Dario Argento. Also, wait what, Dario Argento is making Dracula in 3D?
Look, Dario Argento is responsible for the way horror evolved in the seventies. He hasn’t hit one out of the park particularly recently, as his last film was the thunderously mediocre Giallo with Adrien Brody. That said, the man is the definition of a legend. Casting a real mensch like Rutger Hauer only bodes well for this project. Color me cautiously excited.
