By That’s right, all you jive motherflippers. The man that says motherflipper like no other motherflipper alive is joining the motherflipping Robocop remake, and man I really can’t keep saying motherflipper oh god damn it.
Sam Jackson will be joining Gary Oldman and Joel Kinnaman on the reboot/remake/sequel/I don’t even as Pat Novak, “a charismatic media mogul and a powerful force in the Robocop world.” That says to me that his character is going to be a big part of the social/media commentary that pervades the Robocop movies. Personally, I’d love to see him as a replacement for Bixby Snyder, that bald, mustachioed scamp that continually reminds us of the value of a dollar. Regardless, we’ll likely have to wait until production starts in August to get any real idea of what Jackson’s bringing to the table here.
