If you ever sat through Looper wondering, “Yeah, but when are they gonna bone?” then I might just have the movie for you!
Same Boat centers on a time travelling assassin named James who comes from the 28th century (as if we’ll make it that long) and is on a mission to murder a woman. His intern gets sick, however, and loses his paperwork (I guess the future isn’t so different after all), and he uses his free time to cut loose on a cruise ship. He ends up, however, falling in love with the woman he’s supposed to kill. Will he kill her, anyway? I mean, a job is a job, and you got to pay those bills.
Pulling a page from Escape from Tomorrow, the film was secretly shot on a real cruise ship, and looks like it could be fairly charming and cute. Same Boat will dock onto VOD on April 7, 2020.
