But the return of Wes Craven and basically the entire surviving original cast along with every young, attractive actress in Hollywood has plenty of people perking up about Scre4m — even if they are spelling it in that moronic way. The trailer also comes with an official release date for the film of April 15, 2011.
Now we get our first official glimpse of the film, and it seems like Craven is attempting to do exactly what he did with the original Scream by pretty much mocking what the original Scream did. It’s like be self-aware of being self-aware. That might be a bit too much self-awareness to stand, really. Craven can also be pretty hit and miss with his films, so only catious optimism from me.
Wait, was that Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell sitting on a couch in skimpy clothing? Nevermind. Best movie ever.
