Scrooged sits at the top of my personal ‘favorite Christmas movie’ category, second only to A Christmas Story. And much like A Christmas Story, Scrooged is getting a marathon alllllllllllll day long. If you have AMC, tune in any time from now ’til 6 AM tomorrow and get your Scrooged on. If you haven’t gotten your fill of A Christmas Story, it’s on all day on TBS.
If you need a break from these two monuments to the season, Turner Classic Movies will be playing the Orson Welles-narrated story of Jesus, King of Kings, at 5:00 PM. Honestly, I don’t know what Jesus has to do with Christmas*, but it’s narrated by Orson Welles, so you can’t go wrong.
There should be a review of A Christmas Story later today, so you can see if other Flixist writers feel the same way about the holiday misadventures of Ralphie and his family as I do. Regardless of what you do today, I hope you all have a merry Christmas!
*Just kidding, please don’t launch a religious tirade
