Robert Rodriguez’ new studio Quick Draw are in possession of the Heavy Metal license and are quite anxious to take advantage of it. In the teaser video to announce the obtaining of the license was a panning of metal letters with comic images in it. Of course, heavy metal music playing in the background courtesy of Robert Rodriguez’s own band.
He is hoping to make it an anthology of three stories, much like Sin City. They don’t have much details on it but that everyone wants in it. Rodriguez even wants the audience to participate will be having a website where you can submit story ideas, world, characters, as well as demo movies about it.
