Wait wait. Hold the goddamned phone. His last name is Douchett? As in a female douche? I don’t know if this is just a complete and terrible lack of subtlety (as the protagonist in Oldboy is supposed to be a pretty big douche before his horrendous experience) or some sort of super subtlety, where’s you’re so in your face with something that it magically isn’t so heavy handed anymore.
Ok, that aside, I’m still really interested in this movie. Spike’s assembling quite an interesting cast, and given that he’s one of the least obvious possible choices for the film, I’m very interested to see what he’s got here.
