Sorry we’re a day late, folks, but festival season has officially kicked off and that makes scheduling everything else much more difficult. Next week we should be back on track. To make up for our lateness, we’ve got a fuller cast than usual as the Flixist staff considers whether or not kids/teens should be allowed to see R-rated films (especially in a theater setting). Fittingly, this is our first video that be rater R for language (because the way our rating system treats coarse language is ridiculous). I don’t know that you’d want to be blasting this in work or around your children anyway, but I guess that makes this more not-safe-for-work than your average video of Flixist’s talking heads.
Anyways, now that you’ve heard what we thought, what do you think? Should parents be allowed to bring their terrible children into a theater and ruin your experience or should they be locked in a padded room until they’re 17 to keep them away from the cinematic filth that undermines our society’s moral standing?
