By Huh. This is quite a shame. It seems Robert Rodriquez’s tactic of trying to push two films into his busy schedule, Sin City 2 and Machete Kills, doesn’t seem to be paying off. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, once slated for October of this year, will now hit cinemas on August 22, 2014. This may be due to Rodriquez not wanting to push too many projects into 2013, Machete Kills‘ release has not changed, or maybe some more time is needed for the Sin City sequel.
I believe the original Sin City to be a pretty hot flick, and I wouldn’t want a sequel rushed by any means. A Dame to Kill For will likely be as sweet as the original and if Rodriquez needs time to polish it to a bloodied black-and-white mirror shine then so be it.
