By I know I should be really excited for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, but I’m just not. I loved the original, but I just can’t find my footing with this one. It almost seems contrived and forced for some reason. These posters aren’t really working me up either.
Hopefully I’m both wrong and totally alone on this as I want the movie to be really good and do really well. The returning cast showed off here does all look awesome and I’m pretty sure Joseph Gordon-Levitt can do no wrong so maybe my lack of enthusiasm is entirely misguided. We’ll find out when the film opens on August 22.
