For what seems like the 1,000th time, Sony has changed the release date on its long gestating Uncharted film. Originally set to release in 4 B.C. before getting delayed to October 2021, Sony has announced that Nathan Drake’s big-screen adventure will be premiering in July 2021. I’m not sure why the film was delayed so long from its March 2021 release, but I’m not sure if anyone at Sony understands what it’s doing with the project.
At least with regards to Spider-Man, Sony has a better idea. Both Far From Home and Into the Spider-Verse have had their sequels pegged down to more specific dates. The currently untitled Home sequel will release on November 5, 2021 while the Spider-Verse continuation is set for October 7, 2022. That’s some good news amidst all of this chaos.
