Pre-empting possible leaks, with shooting taking place in just a few weeks (and possibly in celebration of May the 4th), the Star Wars: Episode VII crew has announced the cast of the film. And given this huge cast of notable names, I can’t wait to see what J.J. Abrams can cook up. That’s honestly not something I thought I would catch myself saying either.
Here’s the cast. It’s lacking some women, but it’s refreshingly diverse with John Boyega (Attack the Block) being a huge stand out. Also, the rumored returns of Ford, Hamill, and Fisher have been confirmed:

There are no roles confirmed as of yet, but expect that to slowly reveal itself over the year. This’ll be enough to last us awhile anyway. Star Wars: Episode VII releases in theaters December 18, 2015.
