When Steven Spielberg first announced that he was adapting Daniel H. Wilson’s Robopocalypse, my excitement was a bit tempered granted I didn’t read the novel yet. After reading the novel, the film can’t come soon enough. Every little bit of news about it makes me want to travel forward in time and just see the damn thing already. So when Spielberg expresses interest in casting Chris Hemsworth in a major role, it gives a few hints as to which route the film will take.
It’s most likely going to involve a guy looking extremely buff and swinging something around while speaking in some sort of weird accent. Regardless of whatever ends up in the final product, Robopocalypse is going to be great. It’s got Steven Spielberg, possibly the Huntsman named Thor, and sentient robots. What more can be better?
Chris Hemsworth, don’t be stupid. If Spielberg does offer you something, you take it.
