Releasing later this week (since it was delayed from its intended release last December) is George Clooney’s The Monuments Men, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It’s filled to the brim with an amazing cast, hearkens back to old ensemble comedies/dramas, and there’s probably much more to this film than we’ve been getting in the advertisements. Since this is a George Clooney joint, expect a lighthearted romp followed by deep and existential thought.
It’s going to be great, but it’s unfortunately releasing in a week filled with lots of competition. The Monuments Men releases February 7th.
