By A sequel to 2001’s Super Troopers looks like it’s good to go. Kevin Heffernan (Car Ramrod!) revealed that Super Troopers 2 was ready to Guy Speed:
There will be a Super Troopers sequel. We put it off for a while and then came back to it. We wrote the script and handed it in to Fox and now we’re just negotiating the time and the place and hopefully shoot it some time this year. I have to start growing my mustache now.
As The Film Stage notes, “some time this year” is vague, so we probably won’t see Heffernan, Jay Chandrasekhar, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske rocking the staches any time soon. But it’s going to happen, and I hope you boys like Mexico.
