Last year’s SXSW changed a lot of things for me. Besides perfecting the tag team tandem of myself and our dearly departed Allistair Pinsof with a near-relentless amount of reviews and interviews, I made some amazing new friends (#LOD), had my mind changed on Texas as a whole, and got to watch a billion films with a billion people just as excited about films as I was.
This year, everybody’s favorite Filipino Flixistentialist, Hubert Vigilla, and our mustachioed macho manager, Matthew Razak, will be accompanying me to the weird awesomeness that is Austin, TX. Armed with a better understanding and experience of how SXSW runs, I can guarantee you that we’re going to rock your faces off this year. Based on the things I personally have scheduled, there’s going to be something for everybody.
Hold on to your butts, because we’re going to be kicking them with so much amazing content starting this weekend. I know Hubert, Matt, and I can’t wait to be at SXSW, and we can’t wait to deliver what we have in store for all of you.
