There’s a new teaser trailer out for Upstream Color, the long-awaited second film from Shane Carruth, writer/director of Primer. Like the first teaser trailer, this new one is incredibly cryptic, though it highlights the central relationship on the film rather than the extreme sense of unease.
Here’s that synopsis again for Upstream Color:
A man and woman are drawn together, entangled in the lifecycle of an ageless organism. Identity becomes an illusion as they struggle to assemble the loose fragments of wrecked lives.
Already one of my most anticipated films of 2013, Upstream Color will debut at the Sundance Film Festival and will then be released on April 5th.
