By Of all the god-awful stupid things Hollywood is doing lately, reboots drive me up a wall the most. Even the word, when uttered, makes my eyes roll. But, what’s this? A reboot that actually makes sense? What happened to the Hollywood that did stupid things for profit? I miss that guy, warts and everything. You know, the guy that thinks a Point Break remake/reboot is a good idea.
/Film has now confirmed that a deal has been struck between Summit Entertainment and 28 Weeks Later director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo to reboot the Highlander franchise. No word on how Fresnadillo and company will tackle adapting the Highlander mythos in this reboot, but I’m sure more details, like casting and vague plot descriptions, will be released in the near future. In the mean time, we know that this is a thing that’s happening.
