By The first full trailer for Starz’s Ash vs. Evil Dead is out, and it looks way better than it has any right to look. Bruce Campbell is back as Ash, and they’re playing up his schlubbiness, age, and cult persona to great effect. (It’s like Ash is really Elvis from Bubba Ho-Tep. Or just Bruce Campbell.)

Sam Raimi directed the first episode of Ash vs. Evil Dead, which has a first season that runs 10 episodes. The entire series will be written and produced by the Evil Dead old guard: Sam Raimi, Ivan Raimi, Bruce Campbell, and Robert Tapert.
Ash vs. Evil Dead will debut on Starz on October 31. Halloween? Spooooooky!
