The Babadook’s trailer is going to creep you out

The Babadook has been getting great buzz since Sundance and judging from this trailer there’s a reason why. Stark and taught the film looks damn scary as it relies on tension and style to scare over blood and gore. I’m a fan of slashers, but a few more films taking note of how this trailer builds would be fine with me. 

If you haven’t heard of the film you should really put it on your radar. Word is it is easily one of the best horrors of the year. The movie’s story, a single mother and her haunted child, might not be that original, but evidently the scares are. You’ll be able to check the movie out in theaters and on VOD when it releases on November 28th.
