The Furies trailer promises eight times the gore

As a person who pretty well only consumes horror media, I feel like I can safely say from a position of certainty and authority that this trailer for The Furies has a lot of horror in it–like maybe eight times as much as your average horror movie trailer.

This may be because the slasher follows eight different women all being hunted by eight different psychos. Fingers are getting chopped off, faces sawed through, everyone’s screaming and covered in blood, and it just looks like a grisly good time. One of these Dollar Store Leatherfaces also hurls an axe after a victim running away, and yes I’d like to see where that lands.

The Furies follows Kayla, a high school student who gets kidnapped and wakes up in a box in the woods (hate it when that happens) and quickly finds that she and other women are all being hunted by a gang of country-fried killers (who appear to be avatars controlled by VR gamers). She seeks to save as many women as she can, but soon even the victims are turning on each other, and Kayla will do whatever she can to survive.

The film will bludgeon Shudder on October 3, 2019. At the very least it looks super bloody, and sometimes that’s all you need.
