Seriously, would you just look at him? When Brett Ratner’s Hercules first announced (not to be confused by The Legend of Nopecules) Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the star, I don’t think we were all ready for a real life Hercules. Still suffering from the Fabio and Sorbo years, I kept from hyping up the project every time Johnson took a pic of the set itself.
But how can you look at these images and doubt the 6’5 juggernaut isn’t fit for the role? The film itself may be a bit off (since it’s based on a graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars), but we’re looking at the definitive Herc here, kids. Zero to Hero indeed. Hercules brings the house down July 25th.
