I am weirdly excited for The Strangers: Prey at Night. Don’t ask me why. I remember digging the original film, which released about 9 years ago, but not enough that I bought it or ever watched it again. So I shouldn’t be that pumped for a very delayed sequel, but, man it looks kind of good.
The original was great because it was built almost entirely on tension. This one seems to be playing a bit more with the idea or at least the trailer is having some fun. Hopefully it all comes together into something that’s actually able to live up to the weird little place I’ve put the original… whatever that place is.
