Ah, San Diego Comic Con. It is a time of celebration, of renewal, of congregating with your fellow nerds and geeks, to peer inside the entertainment industry and see what lays for thou over the horizon. Truly, it is a time unlike any other, where trailers drop left and right, old shows become resurrected, or your favorite TV series gets a tangible release date.
And, if you’re a Walking Dead fan, that’s exactly what just happened. AMC announced that Season 8 of their critically acclaimed cash cow The Walking Dead will premiere on October 22nd.

AMC announced this news via their The Walking Dead twitter account earlier in the day, complete with a poster to get fans hyped for the new season. It looks pretty cool, and hopefully the new season can live up to the hype.
