By Fresh off the announcement that The Wolverine takes place after X-Men: The Last Stand and Wolvie getting bone claws again, we have some brand new information and badass poster that were revealed during an online chat the other day with Hugh Jackman and James Mangold. First off, Wolverine now has a set release date of July 26th, 2013. Next are a few details that /Film has helpfully laid out.
Wolverine is apparently more animalistic this time around, and his weird veins, are attributed to this. The action in the film is a lot more realistic. As in, Wolvie won’t be fighting helicopters. The story is darker, and the villain will be less obvious to spot. And The Wolverine looks to tackle what it’s like for Wolvie to live for like a billion years.
So, all in all the extra details are a bit vague but enticing enough to let our imaginations go a little crazy. I’m personally excited that Wolvie is going full berserker finally. What do you all want from this?
