Tina Fey looking at joining The Muppets for sequel

In what could possibly be the best idea ever, professional funny-woman Tina Fey is in talks to join the cast of Disney’s upcoming Muppets sequel, co-starring with Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell. Famous for her stint on Saturday Night Live and her show 30 Rock, Fey is one of the leading ladies of televised comedy, so I demand she take the part and make the world a better place, because I can’t really think of anyone more suited to be in a Muppets movie. 

Not much is known in the way of plot other than The Muppets find themselves in Europe mixed up in some sort of caper. According to THR, Fey would be playing a Russian gulag prison guard, and if that ain’t a recipe for comedy I don’t know what is. Of course, context is everything, so it probably won’t be very funny if she is actually torturing The Muppets in a Russian prison, but that probably won’t be the case. Probably.
