Starting November 2nd the Steamwhistle Brewery in Toronto, Ontario is hosting a month-long art show in the Steamwhistle Brewery’s gallery space and is dedicated to Hergé’s The Adventures of Tintin. The show is open to submissions – and today is actually the last day to submit! You can check out some of the Tintin works below, and even more at the show’s website.
As Flixist’s own review of the Tintin movie proves, there is still a lot of love out there for this comic brand. Speaking of comics, all the proceeds from the silent auction of this Tintin show are going to the Canadian Comic Legends Legal Defense Fund, an “organization fighting against censorship and for the rights of Canadian comics readers, artists, and publishers.” How awesome!
