We haven’t seen much footage of the upcoming Toy Story 4 yet. Vague teasers with classic songs and the basic logo are about the only thing we know of Pixar’s fourth entry in this revered series. During the big game last night, an incredibly brief teaser was shown that didn’t fill us into a lot of details.
We get a quick look at a redesigned Bo Peep and see Buzz tied up as a carnival prize. I guess the toys wind up at a county fair and need to figure a way back home. That could easily sum up every Toy Story film, yet I bet something deeper lurks beneath that simple setup.
Toy Story 4 is still set for a June 21, 2019 release date. Despite feeling that 3 was a perfectly fine conclusion, I’ll likely be there day one to see my old friends on the screen again.
