Disney and Pixar just released not only the teaser poster for Toy Story 4 but also a little trailer introducing the newest “toy”, Forky. This trailer starts out peaceful with all your favorite toys in harmony till we get to Forky who freaks out claiming “I don’t belong here!”, and “I am not a toy.” Forky is a spork who reminds me of those DIY toys we would make at a day camp with pipe cleaners and wooden spoons and add a face to.
Forky is hilarious so far and seemingly disrupts the harmony of all the toys who are linked arm and arm. The old gang not only gets a new friend but are headed on the open road and we all know what can happen when we take our toys on road trips with us…
The new teaser poster also looks cool and western like. I am looking forward to seeing the full-length trailer when it comes out. I must admit I am a tad freaked out by Forky so I wonder how kids will react to it. He kinda reminds me of things you would see in your nightmares as a kid so hopefully, this new “toy” doesn’t freak kids out.
The full teaser trailer is slated to air alongside the upcoming release of Ralph Breaks the Internet, officially kicking off the hype for Toy Story 4’s release next June 2019.
