42 tells the story of the first black American man to play in major league baseball; Jackie Robinson. Judging by the trailer, 42 will focus on a lot of the racism and bigotry that Robinson had to overcome, and how he eventually became a national hero.
The biopic looks inspiring and is of course based on the true story of Jackie Robinson’s career. 42 will open in theaters April 12th.
