By The trailer for the Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen film, 50/50, is now upon us on Apple’s website. The film is loosely based on screenwriter Will Reiser’s own experience with cancer. However, instead of making an immensely depressing film, director Jonathan Levine (The Wackness) sets the tone for a very entertaining buddy picture set to an emotional backdrop of somebody dealing with cancer.
Rounding up the cast alongside Gordon-Levitt and Rogen are Bryce Dallas Howard (Lady in the Water), Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air), Anjelica Huston (The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou), and Philip Baker Hall (Bruce Almighty).
What do you guys think of the trailer? It’s no secret that I absolutely adore JGL and Seth Rogen, so seeing them paired up is like a dream. 50/50 also gives JGL the chance to show off his comedic chops as a change of pace to the more serious roles he’s been taking over the past few years. 50/50 will be in theaters on September 30th.
