Beasts of the Southern Wild was one of the most acclaimed movies at Sundance this year, scooping up two festival awards: the Grand Jury Prize for Best Dramatic Film and the Excellence in Cinematography Award. The film’s trailer recently dropped, and it looks like a stunning piece of work, with hints of Where the Wild Things Are and maybe Chris Adrian’s The Children’s Hospital.
