Another crazy Korean horror film has entered the mix. While Alec’s review for Bedevilled from last year’s New York Asian Film Festival was full of pretty words (and extremely high praise), nothing beats seeing a film in action. The film is about a woman who, after years of abuse and ridicule from both her husband and her neighbors, decides to lash back at those who have tormented her. Beyond that, she attempts to escape her Korean town for the “safety” of Seoul.
Blood, revenge, and foreign languages. Could it get any better?
