Corman’s World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel is a documentary detailing the life and career of the famed director and producer, Roger Corman. As Alex Katz describes him, he’s “the king of B-movies,” but as indicated in this trailer, his influence extends a whole lot further. Including such film luminaries as Ron Howard, Robert De Niro, and Martin Scorsese, Corman has had a lot of proteges under his wings flourish and blossom into amazing directors, themselves.
The documentary screened at this year’s Sundance, but will be hitting theaters this December for those interested. The film’s poster is in the gallery, if you’re interested.
