By Wow, Cosmpolis. This is the kind of surreal, sexy, disturbing David Cronenberg movie I’ve been missing for so many years. Not that I haven’t enjoyed his output as of late, as A History of Violence and Eastern Promises in particular are two pretty amazing movies, but we haven’t had a taste of the old Cronenberg since eXistenZ, and that was 1999.
Cosmopolis looks to tell quite an odd, labyrinthine story with Robert Pattinson’s Eric Packer at the center as a billionaire cruising in his ridiculously futuristic limo on a weird trek that will involve a dude in a rat costume somehow.
