By Although I have been slowly making fun of Neil Blomkamp’s Elysium through each post for its generic, product endorsed look, I have instantly fallen in love with this trailer. Everything from the class warfare (it’s the people on Earth versus rich folk on Elysium), Matt Damon’s part man (with thug life tattoos) part machine, all badass Kawasaki contraption, and to even Matt Damon’s incomprehensible mush mouth.
At its best, this Elysium trailer has Jodie Friggin’s Foster, and at its worst, it looks videogame-y. But that’s not a problem if it looks like an awesome videogame, is it? Elysium releases August 9 this year.
