I didn’t realize that Mila Jovovich was allowed to be in movies not directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. Is this a new rule? She doesn’t look like she’s engaging in bad wire-fu, muttering bad one liners, or generally being the most “badass” thing in the room.
Anyway, Faces in the Crowd. Jovovich plays a woman that, after witnessing a grisly murder, loses the ability to recognize anyone’s face, including those of her own family. Supposedly this kind of “face blindness” is an actual disorder that can be caused by psychological trauma. Which is nice, because it looks more to me like a cheap ploy to hide the fact that this looks like any other basic serial killer movie, but that would be jaded of me.
