Remember how bad everyone thought Man of Steel was? Could you imagine that film being about six times worse? The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened? is a Kickstarter funded documentary that explores a film that nearly came to be: Superman Lives.
Teasing concept art, interviews with star Nicolas Cage, director Tim Burton, and screenwriter Kevin Smith, the doc dissects the Superman movie lost in time. I can’t wait to find out all about this movie. Or I’d rather see it, but that’s never going to happen. This is the next best thing, however.
I just wish I could’ve seen Nicolas Cage fighting dinosaur demons in a disco super suit.
