Trailer for third Maze Runner: The Death Cure

The Maze Runner was clearly trying to cash in on the last wave of dystopian future with teenage models that The Hunger Games kicked off. Yes, you can thank The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins, and Lionsgate for Divergent. Goddamn you Lionsgate!

Anyway, Maze Runner 3 is now here, and this trailer makes about as much sense as you’d expect. It’s the future, with future cities and stolen terminator HK planes that use both propellers and propulsion to stay afloat, but trains are exactly the same. Oh, and there’s something about saving people, but not being able to save everybody, but maybe? And what’s the death cure about?

If they were really trying to cash in on dying trends, then the cure for death could be turning all the teenage models into vampires! Yes! Twilight-Hunger Games-Maze-Running-Divergent crossover!

Where’s the cure for bad movies and too many sequels?
