I know people like to pretend that the first G.I. Joe movie was terrible simply because it was based on G.I. Joe and dumb as dirt, but in reality it was pretty awesome. Good action, lots of explosions and ninjas. Most action movies struggle to have one of these things present while Joe delivered all three.
Now with this new trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation, they’ve added one more action movie feature: the complete and total destruction of a major city. Looks like London is going away this time around. Aside from that, we get a bit more of a peek at the plot and the major role that Dwayne Johnson will be playing. I see they’ve pretty much given him the lead, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision since he makes any movie better. I just have to once more exclaim how awesome the ninja fight on the side of a cliff looks. REALLY AWESOME!
