I’ll make this short and sweet: G.I. Joe: Retaliation has Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis shooting people, two badass ninjas doing ninja things against one another, The RZA, with a script written by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The only weak link is the film’s director, Jon M. Chu, who’s most notable as the director for Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and the latest Step Up movies. While G.I. Joe: Retaliation could still be a completely awesome, manly movie with muscles, blood, and one-liners, it’s not without reason to assume there’ll be a dance sequence or two, given Chu’s penchant for dances in his films.
We can all hope and pray for a tango by The Rock and Bruce Willis when the film releases on March 29th.
