Dark summer comedy with Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and Jason Bateman trying to murder Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston and Colin Farrell? TWO PLEASE!
For those not in the know, Horrible Bosses is about three friends (Bateman/Day/Sudeikis) plotting to kill their respective bosses (Spacey/Aniston/Farrell) with the help of a murder consultant named “Motherf*cker Jones” (played by Jamie Foxx). The trailer channels a mix of Office Space and Very Bad Things, highlighting the dickery of these bosses and the moronic ways these guys plan to kill them. It’s really humorous to see Farrell play an absolute slob and Aniston a sex crazed femme fatale, deviating so far from what they’re seen as in the press (in case you don’t get it, it’s because Colin Farrell is an attractive playboy and Jennifer Aniston is that frumpy girl you date before you find someone hotter).
For some odd reason, Jennifer Aniston (someone who I’ve never found attractive) has caught my eye in this one. I think it has something to do with the fact that I’ve always wanted to be sexually harassed in the work place. I still don’t get why that’s frowned upon or why I had to have a lengthy talk with HR. I mean, it’s flattering, right? I’m sure I speak for everybody when I say we should change it from “sexual harassment” to “flattery harassment”.
