I was thirty-five, and life hadn’t exactly led me where I expected it to. Then, there she was: nineteen and full of the kind of optimism that you have before getting a liberal arts degree and immediately lose all of upon graduation. I immediately told her it was totally serious and romantic, and she agreed. Unfortunately, I felt like I was massively creepy due to robbing that college cradle, and it took her some convincing to get our romance going.
I apparently also met Zac Efron, but it seems like he had a bit of a minor role in the whole ordeal and is only worth mentioning in a throw-away episode.
