Margin Call is one of the many films that debuted at Sundance that I kept hearing good things about, and if this trailer is any indication, it appears that good word of mouth was spot on. The film is a financial thriller, taking place over the course of a 24-hour period in 2008 during the beginning of the United States’ recent economic crisis. The ensemble cast — which includes Kevin Spacey, Zachary Quinto, Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore, Jeremy Irons and Paul Bettany to name a few — mixed with the constrained timeline and business drama nature of movie is kind of giving me some Glengarry Glen Ross vibes, which is never really a bad thing.
Plus President Laura Roslin herself Mary McDonnell has a role in the film, which basically requires me to watch it.
