You probably have seen some footage floating around of the Takashi Miike-directed Phoenix Wright film adaptation, but now we finally have a proper trailer without floating Japanese heads. Of course, if you don’t know how to speak or read Japanese, you might not gather much from this Japanese trailer. However, Capcom Unity has some of the goods about the trailer.
The film should be following the plot line of the first game, which should appeal to those familiar with the DS franchise. More importantly, Miike’s driving for as much honesty to the source material as possible, as seen with the wacky hairstyles and captions (which will hopefully be in the film and not just edited for the trailer). See, why couldn’t Dragonball: Evolution have at least stayed true to the hairstyles?
