Amanda Seyfried and I like to play this little game. I tell all my friends that she’s a great actress, and then she goes off and picks a terrible looking movie to star in. Sadly, not even Chloe was free from flaws, and was only seen by a few, leaving most only to know her as that girl from Mean Girls whose boobs could predict the weather.
Red Riding Hood comes out in March of next year and revolves around the mystery of which villager is secretly the werewolf in disguise. My hunch is that it will spend 60 minutes convincing us there’s only one werewolf when there are actually two. Or that it’s one of the lead male actors, only to reveal it’s actually the female, leaving the last 30 minutes for enough violence to make up for the rest of the film’s slow pacing.
I’m trying to get upset at Seyfried for choosing this role, but all I can think about when I watch the trailer is that Shiloh Fernandez once watched his friend bang a corpse in Deadgirl. From necrophilia to beastiality, tsk tsk tsk. Talk about not wanting to get typecast!
